So the time has come for me to step out and start teaching.  To tell the truth, I am thrilled, scared, apprehensive, totally excited and over-joyed all at once.  I want to thank Joy and my dear friend Alice who gave me the final “push” that I needed to step out and start a class that will be filled with laughter, self expression and breakthroughs.

As some of you know I’ve had some bumps and bruises that have recently happened in my personal life, and those incidents took me away from much of the guidance I was receiving. I shut down.  As time was drawing closer to the class, I couldn’t help but think, “Matt, you are such a hypocrite. There is no way you can teach a class when YOUR VERY EXISTENCE is in question.”  Well, I turned to my dear friend Alice who gave me the BEST advice I think I have every received.  She said, “Matthew, go teach the class to yourself.  If anyone else shows up, they will get the benefit of you speaking to your own life.”  How can I argue with such sage advice?
